Your blood glucose value may be very low. If you have typical symptoms of a very low blood glucose, immediately follow your healthcare professional’s instructions for such cases. Repeat the test afterwards.
- You removed the test strip from the meter in order to apply blood and did not slide it back in it within 20 seconds.
- The test strip was bent or moved while testing was in progress.
- You applied too little blood or control solution to the test strip.
- You waited too long before applying a second drop of blood or control solution. Start the blood glucose test from the beginning with a new test strip.
