Accu-Chek SmartGuide Sensor
How do I remove the sensor?
Start peeling off the adhesive pad on the flattened side of the sensor.
Inspect the back of the sensor: Make sure that the sensing element of the sensor has been completely removed from the insertion site after removing it. Check the insertion site by using your finger or check it visually. If the sensing element remained in your skin or the application site feels unusual (for example, painful, swollen, or red) contact your healthcare professional.
An unusual feeling at the application site can still occur a few days after removal of your sensor. In this case, consult your healthcare professional.
For more information, please check How to remove and dispose the sensor.
