In general, the Accu-Chek^® Solo tubeless patch pump can be used on planes. As some airlines prohibit the use of wireless technologies, accustom yourself to the Quick Bolus buttons before you travel, as you may need to activate the system's flight mode.
At most airport, security personal today knows about insulin pumps. Still it is advisable to carry a (multilangual, at least english) letter by your physician that explains that you need the pump, its supplies, insulin and other diabtes related supplies in you hand luggage. Do carry your diabtes related supplies your hand luggage, as you may need them on the flight and check-in luggage may get lost.
Remember that Accu-Chek^® Solo may not be available in your destination, so plan ahead accordingly.
